I Am Ready To Die

What,...can,...be,...worse,...than,...a,...hot,...humid,...day,...plus,...a,...seven,
...mile,...run? Ummm, let's see, the answer to that question is uhhh, NOTHING. This is exactly what I did today. I know, crazy right? So I leave the house this morning at around 7:45am for an 8:30am camp. At around 4:30pm my mom picks me up and we head home. We get home a little after 5:15pm, and I go up stairs to get changed into gym shorts, and one of the light, flowy shirts, that are designed for running, or active sports. Anywhom, I then chug down a Gatorade, grape, of course. I also grab a Balance Bar, and chow on that. By 5:45pm we were back on our road to Nashua, for a run with some of my "running mates." Hold up everything. See how I put the period before the quotations. I honestly think that it's rediculous that if something is intended to be in air quotes, the last quote is after the period. It's like stopping the sentence before the quote is over. It's perfectly fine for if someone is talking, but, ugh, whatever, enough rambling. Oh and one more last thing, what's so wrong with talking sentences? Anyways, back to what I was saying. I really didn't know, or hadn't socialized with the highschoolers before. Though they were a lot friendlier than the kids my age I run with. Their names were Cassie and Corey, I also ran with Coach Mike. I'm lugging along, seeing as though I hadn't run in let's see,..two to three weeks. Half way through in this disgusting sticky, muggy weather I ask how long are we running for? Coach says an hour. Hold it, what?! I didn't sign up for this, well actually I did. I didn't dare ask how long we have been running for, showing my signs of evolving weakness, (Pain is only weakness leaving the body). I'd say about 45 minutes into the run, I'm seriously hurting. By now my face, in parts, are tingling, my body is drenched in my own sweat. It was really disgusting. the last 2 to 3 miles were the longest in my life. My stomach is now ready to upchuck, my legs are straining up, my mind is making things have a purplish tint. yeah, it was looking good. I was falling behind slowly, even to a point where they turned around to get me. We we finished the run, no lie, I was ready to pass out, black out, hurl, almost die. I chugging that long awaited water. I was now just pleading for this storms supposingly going to hit here. No sign what-so-ever. C'mon Posideon! I'm sick of it, just relinquish these storms on this hot as heck day! On the way home my feet , free of shoes and socks, hurt like, I don't even know. Everything from my waist down was in pain. It hurt to walk. When it came to climb the stairs, every step, burst out an "Ohhhh," "Owwww," or a "It hurts!" The shower helped, my knee caps and feet only hurt. I don't know how I'm going to walk around Boston tomorrow. I'm not thinking about that, all I'm thankful now is this air conditioner and sorf, comforting bed. Buenos Noches.

  1. It was hot and humid here today? It POURED down at Six Flags from what must have been 3 to 9. And no joke, the dye from my black flip flops have dyed my feet blue. I washed them once already and I'm going to try again before I get into bed. I will take a picture now and put it on my blog to show the world the new color of my feet.
And "sorf" made me laugh out loud! (LOL for cool people)

And it just shows how crazy dedicated you are that you don't run for HALF A MONTH and then go kill yourself. I don't believe you are 100% sane.
