Place of the Week!

Welcome all! Welcome, to my minute blog, tucked way to the select few. Today is Sunday, a day in which I dread. But today, is going to be fun, the USA vs. Canada game is today, I know the USA can win, we beat Canada last week, 5 to 3 and lets do it again. And break our 30 year streak, beacuse 30 years ago we the USA beat the Soviets, otherwise known as the "Miracle on Ice". There is also the new episode of the Amazing Race. I hope it's good. Now back to what I signed on to do. The Place of the Week. This week's winner, I had a hard tome picking. I was really stumped on what to pick for the winner. But luckily I chose one. But before I announce the new winner, lets review last week's winner Santiago, Chile. I told you last week that I chose this place because of the new season of the Amazing Race. I had no idea that there would be a major earthquake, that would take place there, come the following week. Chile recieved an 8.8 magnitude earthquake on the Rictor Scale. Tsunami warnings were sent  out to Japan, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands. But that was soon, taken down. Is the Earth trying to slowly erase the human race, and warn us of the "End of the World" in 2012? Okay now onto the new winner. So Santiago your reign is over and its now time for this place to take charge,..................Akureyri, Iceland!!!! Congrats Akureyri you are the new winner of the Place of the Week!!!
