My Bucket List

Reading that title I would assume one thing: "Is he planning on a short life? Because you don't typically make one of these until later on in life." I can you inform you, I plan on living to 157, not 30. In order to get to 157 I'm eating lots of fruits and vegetales (that's Spanish for 'vegetables'). If you doubt me, I could really care less, because everyone can have dreams. But that's besides the point. I now present you with my premature Bucket List.

  1. Climb Mt. Everest (along with the highest mountain on each continent)
  2.  Travel to every country in the world, good or bad.
  3. Publish at least 3 books
  4. Learn Spanish and French
  5. Fly around the world non-stop
  6. Visit MARS (and the moon on the way there)
  7. Learn how to 'twirl' a pen through my fingers
  8. Bungee jump off of some high thing :)
  9. Earn a Platinum Belt (to heck with Black Belt)
  10. RUN from Boston to some major city on the west coast
  11. Establish my own school (of awesomeness)
  12. Make the worlds largest PB&J and get my picture in The Guinness Book of World Records
  13. Swim with whales
  14. Live in Africa (with proper precautions and vaccines of course) and help the poor
  15. Dig to China ;)
  16. Fly, literally.
  17. Win the Nobel Peace Prize for some noble deed. (This can't be guaranteed so I'm not sure whether it would be classified in my Bucket List)
  18. Plant 1,000 trees
  19. Invent my own new word(s)
  20. Be in a movie, and preferably have a line or two, but if I just walk by and that's it, that's fine too.
Those are 20 off of my current Bucket List that I just created as I went along. I found it harder and harder to create the list towards the end. That's probably due to the fact that  take on very ambitious pursuits (right word?).I didn't want to say something that everyone would want to do. I have no doubt that this list will grow and be elaborated on more as grow older. No doubt.

  1. Jon, excellent bucket list! I'm going to add "18. Plant 1,000 trees" to mine.

Also, I wanted to post the website:

    www.KickYourBucketList.com

I thought it would be helpful to you and possibly your readers. It is a website that allows you to create an online bucket list. It is super easy, fun, and shareable with friends and family. Plus, if you have Facebook... you can login with that.

In any case, good luck with ya' bucket list... fellow New Englanda'. (from NH)
