Good morning everyone!,...or good night,...or afternoon. Anywho I'm here to bring you the new winner of Place of the Week! But before I get to that let's take a recap on last week's winner, Xian (or Xi'an), China. Now this place brought me into a state of rapture. The bonhomie of Samantha Brown: Passport to China just made it all the better. She really made me feel as if I was there. I loved the Terracotta Warriors, the tall pagoda, and the building know as Time Square, because of the bell that would be rung at the hour. Xian is filled with much great beauty, but also of the horrific air pollution. Now onto this week's winner.
This P.O.T.W.winner was chosen for one specific reason, and only one of my commenters, also know as "the real anonymous" knows why I picked this place. So without further ado I present to you,..................Long Bay, Antigua (and Barbuda) as the new winner of Place of the Week! Now because only one commenter knows exactly why I chose this place, I will tell you. In geography right now we are learning about Latin America. We were all assigned a country of our choosing. I picked Antigua and Barbuda, not just because it was one of the only ones left also because I have been there twice so far. The hotel I stayed in was on Long Bay too. I have seen almost every major thing there from Devil's Bridge (natural bridge),

to St. John's, to Shirley Heights, to the sugar mills scattered around. So this place truly does mean something to me, in a big way at that. All I can say is it's a fantastic place that I think everyone should see in their lifetime. Come back next week for the new Place of the Week! Also I made a mistake in my last week's P.O.T.W., the season finale of the Amazing Race is on tonight, sorry. And have any ideas for the new P.O.T.W.? Tell them to me, and you might see your place as the new winner! (Going from top to bottom with photos this is what they are: Long Bay, Antigua; Devil's Bridge; St.John, Antigua (capital); one of many abandoned sugar mills.)

Those pictures are really cool! I like the one of Devil's bridge the best though, just because it's cool that things can happen naturally like that. BTW other readers, I am the Real Anonymous, and the country I chose was Panama, which is very cool because the first three letters of Panama are also the same first three letters of pancake. So clearly, Pancake Panama is awesome. I think that Macedonia should be next week's P.O.T.W. What food sounds like Macedonia? MACADAMIA! I crack myself up.
